I have never heard of that one. Much better to cut it out anyway as its bad for you in many other ways, if you still want to drink it, at least switch to diet versions;

It is not so much that Pepsi will causes kidney stones, it is the fact that you must have adequate water intake to eliminate the chance of developing kidney stones. When you only drink soda, you are preventing your kidneys from functioning properly. You should drink at least, at least, I again say, six glasses of water and more. When your urine becomes concentrated, which it will do without flushing your kidneys with proper amounts of water, this can lead to kidney stones. Has nothing to do with Pepsi per se. Three cans of any soda a day is not healthy at all. So, yes it could cause kidney stones but simply because you are not giving your system adequate water amounts to flush your body of impurities.

Best wishes for a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Yes, if its diet Pepsi, or any diet soda. A friend of mine stopped drinking beer for awhile and started drinking 5-6 diet sodas a day, and bang.....Kidney stones so bad he was rolling around on the floor in pain. Doc told him to go back to beer and lots of water. No trouble since.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
