Make over time!!!!!
I'm glad to hear that you are doing okay after your stroke.
This is a perfect reason to treat yourself. Buy yourself an outfit
you'd really like but you'd never buy under other circumstances; as you've found out, life it WAYYYY TOO short. Or, maybe
look up some hairstyles and try a new look, malls have people
at the cosmetics counters that will do free make overs or if you have to pay, theyre pretty reasonable;
It sounds dumb, but when you feel good on the outside, it makes you feel better on the inside.

My stepmom had a stoke also: Two of her kids drowned to death ages 2 and 4, her house burned down, her ex-husband was a nut and got thrown in jail, and then she had a nervous breakdown followed by a stroke. She made it through and kept a positive outlook on life. My father saw her beauty and married her. You will be fine, go to a spa and pamper yourself. Also, surround yourself with positive people, this will help. Happy New Years and God Bless, I'll pray for you.

I personally enjoy the bible. God loves HIS people no matter what they look like and is not to shy to tell you so.
Fred Astaire once said "you got to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again"

Just live your life. I bet you look fine, just keep up your therapy and don't dwell on looks.
Best of luck!
