For the last week I keep getting these very short dizzy spells. They last for one to two seconds before I return back to normal. While they're not back to back they're getting pretty frequent. I eat well, sleep fine, nothing drastic has changed in my lifestyle, so why am I getting these spells?

Silly me. I forgot to add that I will go to the doctor, but I wanted to ask to get some theories on what it could be.

Without a physical exam there is no way to know what is causing these spells. That is like someone asking why they keep vomiting or why they keep seeing black spots. See a doc to find out what is going on in case it is something serious.

Many reasons. You could have an inner ear infection that can cause virtigo. You could be dehydrated. You could have low blood sugar or diabetes. You could be pregnant....

If they are persistantly more frequent, see your doctor.
