i am talking about when women go to a public place and a public restroom, where do they dispose their used tampons and pads? do they just stand in front of the mirror and sink, pull down their pants and change it? or do they go into the toilet stalls then take it out and throw it in the trash? and who cleans up these trash cans? what if many women are having aids, with all that blood. wouldnt it be a health hazard for the janitors? i am obviously a guy so i wouldnt know.

My granddaughter is 3 and has lost weight in the last 3 weeks, with fatigue, pain in the legs and pretty much all over. She says she's tired almost all the time. She has abut 2-4 hours a day that she is pretty good, the rest aren't. She doesn't sleep well, doesn't eat and is just fussy and definitely NOT herself.

I had a brain tumour - meningioma - 3 years ago.. I have to go back to the neurosurgeon this year for a check up, and I always get nervous and convince myself that it's back. Does anyone know some possible signs? I know there is a lot to consider.. Perhaps I'm just looking for some peace of mind.

She is starting to have problems finding words or she just simply gets stuck on 1 word. On the positive, she is much happier than usual. I keep filling in the missing words and try to make it easier to have conversations with her, but I really have to be honest, I am so sad inside. What to do to cope easier. Mom died at 66 with the same thing. God, if I end up with this, I will kill myself first.

My girlfriend has been losing a TON of weight over the past 6-8 months (she's now 5'7" and 106lbs). They haven't been able to figure out what's wrong with her, until a couple of days ago. They checked her gallbladder and said it was not functioning at all. They did a similar test a couple of months ago, but they said they found no stones, so the test was stopped. She's having her gallbladder removed tomorrow. Her friends and I have tried to suggest to her that she has an eating disorder (bulimia and anorexia run in her family). I thought the gallbladder helped digest fatty foods, but she swears that anything she eats makes her vomit or gives her diarrhea, to the point that she's lost all this weight. Does any of this 'add up' to anyone out there, or do you think she has gallbladder problems with a side of bulimia???

I've noticed that when I go to the bathroom my stools are covered in blood. It doesnt hurt, though. I looked up hemorrhoids, but i dont have any bumps or itching or burning. I know it could be internal, but is there any way to find out without going to the doctor?
What can I do before I make an appt.
What else could cause this?

What is the best way to help a parent with a severe alcohol addiction? This person is even suicidal with 2 recent hospital admissions - however the hospital care is only concerned with his physical health - not his mental health or his addiction. The GP (regular doctor) seems not to be concerned either. What are the best resources I can get in touch with?

Hi. About two years ago, I got this sudden feeling of feeling dizzy/wouzy, having a foggy brain (trouble concentrating), and trouble focusing my eyes all day and every day. I have had multiple blood tests, had an MRI of my brain, and my eyes checked and everything seems to be fine. Its quite frustrating. Its difficult for me to hold a conversation with someone because I cant concentrate on what I am hearing. My vision, as best as I can describe it, is like when you day dream and not focusing on anything. That is what it is like for me even though I am trying to focus.

When I go into say like a department store, and there are alot of clothes racks or items that are in close proximitey, my symptoms seem to get worse.

My energy levels are down and I am frustrated because this problem has not gone away. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what was the problem. does anyone have any idea?
