It sounds like migraines! Nausea and inability to tolerate light are some accompanying symptoms. Go get evaluated by a physician, they may want to rule out other potential causes, but if it is simply migraines, there are medications to help reduce the frequency of episodes. The doctor will want to know if there are any precipitating factors, so between now and your appointment, record things that you eat and drink and mark the times when you get the headaches (some people have "trigger" foods)

A cold rarely has a fever above 101. The flu (including the swine flu) usually has a higher fever, say 102. They treat based on symptoms and take a sample to test to see if you have swine flu, but they don't get a result for 48 hours. In the meantime, the treatment is similar. Now, bronchitis ALSO has a high fever (often spiking to 104 as in my case). However, it has a different 'sound' in the lungs, I guess. Sometimes they aren't sure and just do an xray. What they don't tell you is that, among other things, doctors have to have amazing memories to remember all the different stuff they learn.

sounds like a migriane headach to me...A migraine is a type of primary headache that some people get repeatedly over time. Migraines are different from other headaches because they occur with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light. In most people, a throbbing pain is felt only on one side of the head.

Sounds like you have already identified your problem. I experience migraines as well and nausea is typical. There is a pretty effective medication called Imetrex that can help, but of course, you must see a physican in order to make sure you have migraines. Then, he/she can prescribe the medication. Good luck. I really hope you can get some relief.

You need a scat scan or an MRI. The sooner the better. Also, watch what you are eating before the migranes.

It could be encephalitis or meningitis - google these two conditions and see if you have any other symptoms. I had encephalitis nine years ago and it almost killed me because no one knew what it was. You need to consult a doctor. If you start having auras such as smelling strange things or hearing things your brain could be infected and swollen (encephalitis) or the mylin sheath around your brain could be infected (meningitis). Either way they are both deadly.
