my father has raynaulds and i do to a short extent.
very little can be done.
they were playin with something but it never worked out.
th best thing to do is exercise a bit, plenty of vitamin E to help with blood flow and an extra pair of socks at night and also try one of th beany bags that you can microwave, they are pretty cool.
keep warm and be safe as well in th cold weather.

I am a pharmacist and many patients have had success using calcium channel blockers especially nifedipine. It is also advised to avoid the cold and vibrations (such as using power tools) if possible. Smoking can increase symptoms and so do beta-blockers, amphetamines, and the triptans.

My husband uses a hot paraffin tub (like the ones that manicurists use) and soaks his hands and feet in it when he is hurting. Also, he has used electric sox (sox with batteries) and hand warmers. You can get the first at a beauty supply store and the second at a sporting goods store. (We got them on e bay).

Also, you might talk to your rheumatologist about getting on a disease modifier like enbrel to stop the cause of the symptoms.

The only solution I know is to stop smoking if you do. Make sure you have a good physicial exam that includes a cardiologist and a pulmonologist, both which assess circulatory and respiratory functioning.
