I have this weird diarrhea-like stools. When I sit in the toilet I let out a lot of gas and when I push. The stools are very mucousy and I noticed yesterday some blood in the stools. I went to the doctor Friday because its been going on for so long. I had to bring stool samples and they gave me some pills just in case its bacteria-related. They also took out blood. The only problem is that I have to wait 2 weeks for my results which is a long time. I feel that I can get worse in that time (which I am. I am now passing blood... when I went to the doctor it was just mucous in the stool). Has anyone had this similar experience? I am drinking Gatorade because the dr. said I could be losing a lto of electrolytes. I have never gotten this before. I am 21 years old. Also, sometimes I soon as I eat I have to go other times I am fine. But then sometimes I'll go 10 times in one day! last nite after I went a few times I noticed the blood when I would wipe. Help!

Just a few questions.

1) I have had a twitch in my calves for 5 weeks and can still stand on my toes and heels. I hear you have to be weak first then the twitches come, is that right?

2) If twitches can come first how long does it take for weakness to kick in?

3) I can raise myself from the seat on my toes is that a good sign of strength?

I have a friend that eats her scabs mostly from her scalp, but also her skin. Is that a medical problem? She said she has been doing it for years and she is afraid that she might lose all of her hair and she cannot stop. This is note a bogus question, what can she do to stop this behavior. I think it's so wrong and gross!

I'm remembering a talk show where some guy was featured because of an altruistic gesture he made when he donated his liver to a dying child with a rare blood type. At one point it was mentioned that his liver would grow back or something, but they did not elaborate. Didn't make any sense to me. Is it possible they used only part of his liver and that the remaining part would return to normal?

I have an irritating pressure on the right side of my neck above my clavical. I feel like I can relieve it by putting presure on it. In my mind I feel like it is blood flow?? Its like the feeling when you complete exercise and there is throbing of blood rushing back...It I feel like that but I feel like this is something that could be serious or just more or less verry irritating. Its a constant issue, and more when I do work out its seems more apparent and I feel like I have to stop because my neck hurts so much from the pressure as if its going to pop. In everyday activities like lifting my head as if bending down and rising back up its always like big pressure prevailing on the right side of my neck only. I've gone to a doctor but its really difficult explaining this. I was hoping some one can point me in some direction? Ideas what it could be if serious or not, and maybe what I can do or tests i can do would be helpful

I see a pain specialist who prescribes heavy narcotics for the past 7 years. As time went on the doses went up.(not what I wanted and no you don't get any "buzz" from it because the pain eats it up !!) So I tried pot and the pain actually subsided too a certain degree. My delema is do I risk asking the doctor for medical pot and have him alianate me? I can't afford to lose this doctor they are very hard to find. What do you think I should do?
