For the past week my throat has felt like there is something lodged in it. I went to 3 drs. All say my airway is clear. Could this be anxiety, or could I be allergic to something? I felt a little better today, but then when I lay down to go to sleep, i felt like there was something in my throat again. I feel like I cant get any air. Whats going on?? HELP!!!

It could definitely be stress and or anxiety. Especially if your dwelling on it. I would suggest you go to a nose throat ear doctor.
Get a second opinion and go from there.

no I think that its you working yourself up. It CAN be an allergy but you wouldnt only have it at the time you lay down to go to sleep.
I used to think I couldnt breathe and would start gasping for air but once I would not concentrate on the feeling it would go away.
Turn some music on and concentrate on that when you lay down to go to sleep..it might help.
If the drs say everything is clear, you need to work on it yourself and calm down, youll see it will go away. I know how it feels, like you swallowed bread or something and its stuck there.

I personally think you might have a cold and it has an effect in the throat and could take up to 6 months to go away. depends.
get some sweets for your throat

are you drinking or eating something the same the past few days? are you taking any medicines that you haven't previously taken. are you eating seafood. Seafood can trigger that feeling if you have an alergic reaction. what have you been consuming lately, that you didn't before. artificial sweeteners, it could be anything. think what you've done over those days, that maybe you didn't before, even changing laundry detergent could cause reactions. so think what may be different in your routine.
