I see a pain specialist who prescribes heavy narcotics for the past 7 years. As time went on the doses went up.(not what I wanted and no you don't get any "buzz" from it because the pain eats it up !!) So I tried pot and the pain actually subsided too a certain degree. My delema is do I risk asking the doctor for medical pot and have him alianate me? I can't afford to lose this doctor they are very hard to find. What do you think I should do?

I have a lot of pain due to M.S. When the meds. stop working I WILL try Marijuana. Illegal or not. I had a dear friend who was dieing of cancer, had a lot of pain, took a few hits to alleviate the pain. She was 65. It worked for her. People dont understand the pain that we suffer.

I think you should ask for prescribed marijuana... I feel your pain man though. One time my wisdom tooth hurt so bad no medication would help me, I told a friend of mine and he gave me cocain and asked me to try and rub it on the area where i felt the pain and it worked! I didnt care how illegal it was, when you are in pain you would do anything to make it go away. So i dont blame you for using marijuana.

I think California was the the only state in which to get weed for medicinal purposes but even they have outlawed it. "medicinal purposes" doesn't exist anymore.
