i have this problem i have chron's disease and also have colitus
easily controlled with drugs please do not worry .. all the best for the results

when you state extended do you mean swollen? If this is so some form of bowel disease may be present colitis, crohns, etc or even just irritable bowel, but the biopsy will be able to eliminate anything sinister. Please try not to worry, its good that you have sort medical help to get you problem sorted good luck and take care.
