I had a brain tumour - meningioma - 3 years ago.. I have to go back to the neurosurgeon this year for a check up, and I always get nervous and convince myself that it's back. Does anyone know some possible signs? I know there is a lot to consider.. Perhaps I'm just looking for some peace of mind.

Hi

I have a grade 3/4 mixed glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor.
That started out as a grade 2 came back as a higher grade.

For me. I started having seizures again, headaches, and a generally yucky Feeling I get..............exec.

For me. I knew it was coming back before the doctors did, " Long story"

If it has come back. They are learning daily about new treatments. They gave me <6 months to live a year and a half ago.

And I'm pretty much still going strong ""

I don't know if that's a lot of peace of mind. But I hope it helps.

Feel free to contact me if there's anything else, you need help with

I don't know the answer to your condition, but I want to give you some encouragement. I know it's hard to convince yourself of a good thing when bad thing happened to you; but you need to look pass that. We can alter our life by altering our attitudes of mind (mind over body).
A cheerful mind is a vigorous mind (Jean De la Fontaine).

The most important thing in life is faith; trust God in all things.

Matthew 9:21-22 She said to herself, "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment.

I will pray for your good health. Keep smiling. Choose to live a happy life.

I can sympathize. I had endometrial cancer and I am checked every 3 months for its return. I know it is hard. Hang in there. Check Mayo Clinic website for symptoms of recurrence. Best wishes.

Just be glad they're keeping close track of you and tell them any symptoms or anything off. They need to know everything.
