my doctor told me tht i've chicken pox, at that time i had few blisters, but within a day they 've spread all over my upper body. they 've also started appearing on my thighs. now i'm in my 3rd day of this hellish experience.i cant lie down or even sit properly cos all of my back and neck is covered with it. the itching never stops and especially in my scalp and the back its the worst. the doctor gave me some capsules for infection and calamine solution but i cant see any effects. i havn't slept properly for the last two days. i've to skip school for over a week, i guess. please give me some advice how to get over this quickly?? i am also worried about blisters on my face, if they can leave marks or spots on my face and neck ? how long it takes for the C.P. to go away without a trace? please help.

About a week and a half ago I had gotten a cold sore, and after I told my boyfriend, he still kissed me, until I told him it was contagious. Four days later, he started having getting a canker sore under his tongue and a sore throat. Now his gums are swollen and it seems what appears to be that his taste are missing on a part of his tongue. I can't help but to blaim myself for what's happening to him, but just to be sure that it's only cold sores that is the matter with me I've planned to get myself checked as soon as possible. I've never heard of a cold sore doing that much damage, but can it be possible. By the way this was his first occurence with a cold sore, and I am aware of them being part of the herpes simplex virus, but not to be so harmful.

I was having mild diarhhrea yesterday and then I took a little fiber supplement. All night long I have had the worst case of diarrhea ever.
I am also concerned that it is the Norwalk virus going around here in Northern CA. A friend of ours was over recently and had the Noro virus but said he'd been OK for a couple of days. Then my partner came down with a severe case of diarrhea and now so have I, though it is several days later.

My son had a virus Monday and yesterday with vomiting and diarreah. Well, I tried to keep the house clean and sanitized, but it looks as though I may have gotten part of the virus. Not the vomiting, but the other. I know usually you have to wait and let it run its course, but if anybody has any tips on how to make surviving it easier, I would appreciate it.

At this time of year we all know that it is "flu" season. I am wondering why so many people who have the flu have to crowd in the the ER only to find out that they just have the flu and it will be over in a day or so.
The flu is as common as the common cold but for some reason people just don't get it. I understand that it can be frightening feeling that sick and I have a time or two felt like I am dying but...IT IS JUST THE FLU!!!!!!
It infuriates me when I have to go to the ER with a true emergency and have to wait for hours because there are so many others there that have a common problem that will cure itself.
Anyone else out there with me on this???

I know that i have to take the test but i'm afraid to do it...
For about 2 months now, some sort of sperm alike thing comes out of my penis...It has come out 3 times in 2 months.
I was 73 Kg and in 10 days i lost 3 Kg. The fact that i'm losing weight is that i don't have apetite to eat...BUT I DON'T HAVE APETITE BECAUSE I'M THINKING THAT I MIGHT HAVE AIDS...
No spots, no sweats,no fever no chilling or fatigue.Good sleeps and just a cough..Recently there was a flu virus in Greece that caught about half the population. I was not infected at all.

If i have it, i know i might have caught it about 3 months ago...
Is it possible to be just another decease?? PLS advice

I've been sick for about 3 weeks now, at first they thought sinus infection, then they thought mono, then they thought strep, then they thought mono again, so anyway, the first Monospot test came back negative so they did a throat culture for strep - Also negative.

I went back to the doctor, and they did a full blood test and confirmed that I do indeed have Mono.

I have some swollen lymph nodes on the right side of my neck from just under my jaw all the way down the right side, to my collarbone. The ones up by my jaw are the most swollen, visibly. The others are much smaller.

I was wondering how long Mono keeps your lymph nodes swollen for, roughly? I have an appointment with an ENT tomorrow to get them checked out, but I just found out it was Mono today... I'm wondering if I should still go to the ENT, since I can't really afford it right now and it's quite a journey to get there, and now I know what I have, I know the probable cause too.

So far they've been swollen about 3 weeks.
