There is a stomach bug going around too. You could be next. Happened in our house. One at a time. It is no fun either..... Lasts one to three days.

It honestly could be any number of things. Most likely it is a stomach bug and the heavy meal set it off. Only a doctor can tell for sure because if it is food poisoning is should show up in blood work.

Now as for easing symptoms there are a number of things you can try. First off peppermint tea in small sips. If not peppermint tea, then try ginger tea or chamomile tea. The peppermint, chamomile, and ginger teas help with nausea. Saltine crackers help as well. For the diarehha try immodium ad it works wonders. Also this might sound weird but for me a small fan blowing on me when waves of nausea hit, helps me breath better and sometimes allows the feeling to pass more quickly. I hope this helps some.

Sounds like she caught the flu bug that is going around. Get her some immodium aka loperimide for the diarrhea and give her plenty of liquids to drink. The fever is ok so long as it doesn't go to high as this is your body's way of fighting off what ever you have. If she is aching then pain meds are in order.

Yes, as a child/preteen growing up I used to experience this, as I too woke-up anxiety ridden due to feeling highly pressured by my overbearing and overwhelming Professor Father to perform well educationally---,[ amoungst additional family garbage ]---once he enrolled me in a Catholic private school. Used to wake up a bundle of nerves, all nauseated, sometimes almost getting sick in the car on the way to school early mornings. What u wanna do is TALK to someone professionally to discover what it is all that ur going thru right now in ur life, and possibly get meds to help for the time being....do some journally as well. I highly suggest yoga for relaxation. I swear it'll help u a lot. OH, & don't worry, by the time I was a teenager & throughout my 20's Pops was the one running to the toilet, aaaaaahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!! :-D

Could be food poisoning this soon? I would guess more likely GI system. Emetrol is over-the-counter and will stop emesis (vomiting) and Imodium (also OTC) will stop the diarrhea. However, if fever is much over 100, then ER. If vomiting blood, then ER immediately. Hope she feels better soon!

Your wife may have food poisening. Take her to the doctor or emergency room a.s.a.p. Be sure to mention that she is running a temperature as well just incase she needs to be tested for something else.

My suggestions is to take your wife to the doctor right now or the emergency but if you think that she is not that sick, try and give her something warm to drink such as tea,or water- no dairy of any kind or juice.

it sounds like she's pretty sick, i'd steer clear and sleep in the guest room

you might also call a taxi to take her to the doctor. let the cabbie take the risk of catching bird flu, or whatever it is that she's got

Drive her to the emergency section of any nearby hospital... it may be intoxication or something more serious... go to the hospital, right away, you should never wait or play with health
