I caught cold last night because it was freezing outside and now I have a flu. What's the best and fastest way to get rid of this and get back normal before it gets any worse? Because I have to go to school tomorrow...

Cold weather does not cause colds. Bacteria and viruses cause colds. Many of the ones that cause the common cold tend to be more active in winter than in summer, but people in warm states get sick just as much. It's a myth.

There is a difference between the cold and the flu. Do you have a fever? Aches? Feel weak? Then it's probably the flu. Just a runny nose? Sneezes? Sore throat? Probably a cold.

If it's the flu, there's not a lot you can do by ride it out. Doctors do have some anti-viral meds, but they don't always help. Get a lot of rest, and a lot of liquids.

Colds can usually be helps by over the counter meds, they mostly just treat your symptoms. Pick up a non-drowsy decongestant for the day, or some throat lozenges. You can probably tough it out for school tomorrow, but come straight home and rest. Don't over use decongestants, they'll dry you out and you won't heal as quickly.
