3 Yr old daughter has been getting sick ever since we moved to Japan(military). She has been getting recurrent high fevers(105) and rashes or hives that soon follow within weeks. She has also had viral and bacterial infections left and right. I am so tired of not getting any answers as to why this happens every other week. My 10 month infant is showing signs of all this too. The only thing I do know is that she was just diagnosed with alopecia(hair falling out in some places) and eczema which is seasonal and does not relate to the stuff she is getting.
I do not know what else to do as far as these fevers and rashes, because they are causing problems. Also I just found out that she has not gained any weight in over 3 months. I do not know what is going on. Any suggestions? Please help!

My boyfriend took some anti-biotics last night around 9. He woke up this morning, and did not tell me, but was getting a rash, and his throat had a swollen feeling. I don't know whay, but he thought it would be ok.
He said it still feels swollen, but it's not getting worse. He still has a rash on his arms, but it's not getting worse.Should
he still go to the E.R. to get it looked at , or should he just call his Dr. for a new med.?

Thanks!

Well, under my right eye is puffy. Whenever I tap under it, it feels like liquid trapped beneath but it doesn't go away -- [it's been like this for quite some time now]. My other eye is fine it's just the right. It looks really swollen too. I do rub that eye a lot though..but I'm trying to stop because I don't want it to get worst.

I do have allergies and I haven't been to the doctor for a long time now. I don't take medication...but I'm going to buy some soon.

Am I allergic to mosquitoes? Everytime I get bit by a mosquito it swells and I start itching. I was bitten by a mosquito this morning on my back near my left shoulder. Now the muscles where my shoulder and neck connect are sore, I have a very small bump to the right of the bite, and a larger sore bump on the front part of my shoulder.

Could allergies and food-intolerances be signs of an organism adapting to it's environment?

I have very sensitive eyes that are dry.....they are ALWAYS red so I have to use Visine every single day....I have done this for years.....I know that isn't good for my eyes and they are probably already building a tolerance for the stuff, but they are so red that I can't stop using it. What could be wrong? What would help that wouldn't cause damage to my eyes?

Every summer when it is really humid out, my mom and I will get itchy bumps (hives) on the tops of our hands and between our knuckles. It started when I was around 6. We have gone to a pediatrician, an allergy doctor, and a dermatologist and they weren't sure either. They just prescribed us hydrocortizone, but too much can cause blood poisoning and I get nervous when I use it. Do you know what this is and what I can do about it?

I've got this sensation in the back of my nasal passages that's bugging me, but is normal with the change of the season when the air gets cool and dry. Seems like it will get worse before it gets any better. Other than a vaporizer and more fluids, what nasal spray is best. Saline seems to help, but is there something better? Thanks!

I would like to cut back on carbs and eat more protein and produce. My problem is that I'm allergic to nearly all raw veggies, all melon, bananas, kiwi, walnuts, and brazil nuts.
I eat small meals 6 times a day, only a tiny snack in the evening, but I'm sorta getting tired of apples and grapes and peanut butter!
Any advice?

I got an ongoing dispute with a friend of mine.
he says that a friend of his got poison Ivy so bad that his doctor told him it would return every year.
Now this isnt from contact anymore its just from getting such a bade case of it.
he even says that his friend actually gets it very year in the same spot
I dont belive this at all but there is no way for me to prove this to him. I dont know any doctors that i can bring over to prove this.
I need to prove this because i work with him and he wont shut up about it.
No matter how i try to word the fact that you cant have a new allergic reaction without an allergen he says. "so youre saying a doctor is wrong". but he never met this doctor and I fro one would like to meet him.
can anyone at least point me to a web link that can prove him wrong. Or i will have to listen to this until one of us quits or gets fired
