do anyone know the dosage amount?? I would like to use the childrens liquid benadryl,but would like to know dosage amount

From what i have in my information it is 1/2 mg per pound.

Call a 24 hour animal hospital. They would be able to give you the exact dosage needed. Considering my Golden lab can have 1 to 1 1/2 pills, I would think the dosage would be around 1/4 tsp. Oh *sigh*, don't listen to all these posts freaking out. You know what's best for your dog, and your intentions aren't murderous. So give him the dose, or call the 24 hour clinic, if you want a precise dose. Everyone else needs to calm down. She's asking about benadryl, not Buthenasia.

I have given my rat terrior 1/2 a adult size benadryl . She has a rash that itches her and that works well I would think a childrens 12 year old dose would work good.
