it is a normal finding in all of us that says when you take a seep breath your heart rate slows down and this can be seen on an EKG. No worries - your body is working well.

nope. sinus arrythmia is when your heart has an irregular beat. its like a drum beat that has an irregular rhythm.

the heart needs to be electrical activated for it to start pumping blood to supply the whole body. where the electrical activity normally starts is at the sinus node, located near the junction of the superior vena cava (a big vein that brings most of the blood from the head to the heart) and the right atrium. thus, sinus arrythmia is termed that way is because the activity is initiated from the sinus node.

the heart should have a sinus rhythm to be normal. if your heart starts beating fast but in a regular manner, its called sinus tachycardia. if your heart on the other hand starts beating slow regularly, thats called sinus bradycardia.
