I can feel for you with allergies to wheat. I was diagnosed with quite a few allergies that contain wheat, gluten, brewers yeast, etc.... It is very hard to find food that don't have these ingredients in them. I know that Fruity Peebles and Coco Peebles are about the only 2 over the counter (meaning not having to go to specialty store to buy your food from) these don't have wheat, gluten. You also have to look and be very careful because wheat could be in the ingredients but be mixed with something else. they usually say 'may contain nuts, soy, wheat, gluten' at the bottom of the ingredients list or somewhere close by. It is also important to stay away from Modified products. ex: modified food starch. anything modified is not plain ingredients it has stuff added to it. remember most flours are enriched (means not 100% and are mixed with other flours and contain wheat). I cant eat the rice crispes and I love them. you can find lots of other alternatives like rice cereals and flours and you can make your own bread without wheat. Search the interenet and you can find all kinds of different stores that sell what you need. Please read your ingredients very carefully and ask your dr if you need further guidance. try to find stores that carry alot of products that are free from wheat. I would stay away from rice cripies for your health. Good Luck!

yes. If u have a wheat allergy u need only avoid wheat. If u have a gluten intolerance such as Celiac Disease, you need to avoid wheat, rye and barley and oats so rice is still safe on that diet also. The only thing to watch for is those instant rice dishes like rice a roni often add wheat or gluten to the mix.

Yes.
Some people are also allergic to rice so if you get sick eating the rice: headaches...stomachaches...sinus congestion, then you will know not to eat rice either.
There are many other foods such as buckwheat (not really a wheat) & quinoa, etc that can be substituted.

Yes you can, as rice is a compltely different genus to wheat, and so does not cause those who are "wheat" intolerant to react badly to it. Dont' worry, you can still have your rice cakes!

Yeah, unless your allergic to rice too. I must be allergic to barley, because every time I drink 14 beers or more, I get sick.
