I just ate strawberries and now my lips are double in size. Should I be worried or is this just a food allergy?

I am under house dust mite allergy since 1994. I have taken a lot of vaccine shots but I still need to see doctor after every 3-4 months. I have been asked not to eat meat and rice particularly.

I have tried different sinus rinses, all sorts of drugs, herbal cleansing, rehabilitation, acupuncture.....and I am tired of it. Does anyone have anything else out of the ordinary that they have tried, and it has actually worked for them? I am so tired, I get sick and worn out at least 1-2 times a week. I drag myself thru the day alot. I am just tired of feeling like this all the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am staying with family in foreign coultry for two months. i am sharing the house with two cats, which is giving me the worst allergic reaction to cats i have had yet. I am sneezing 30 times at a time, have a runny, watery nose, general stuffiness in my head, and worst of all, a tight weezy chest, which i found very difficult to sleep with.

I am looking to alleviate these symptoms, especially the wheeziness, using over the counter drugs.

i know about all the cleaning cats, hoovering, washing hands etc. but it is not helping as this is a small house and the cats have free reign everywhere, which i cannot change.

help!!

Is there another alternative to immunization shots? I hear there is some kind of a pill that when taken regularly builds up resistance but I don't know its name or how effective it really is.

Serious answers would really be appreciated, I have this kind of reaction whenever I eat wheat and yet the allergy tests don't show that I am allergic to wheat. But when I eat wheat I start to cough so much that I start to choke and can't breathe. I have seen doctors about this and all they do is give me puffers to use which don't help. Thanks in advance!

I recently got a kitten about 3 weeks ago. My eyes get dry and itchy, but never red. I sometimes get a headache, is this headache part of the allergies?

If I keep the cat wouldn't I eventually build an immunity?

My friend has about 7-8 cats but I am never bothered by it. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with allergies...

I need the advice of an allergist. How on earth can one develop an allergy to a non-protein, or a non-biochemical? I am allergic to nickel. Took me years to develop this sensitivity. Does the nickel form a protein complex that my body rejects, or what? Are there other metals that can produce allergies?

I am being bitten by some type of insect in my house (not mosquitoes/fleas) produces large (silver dollar plus size) horribly itchy bumps. Usually when there is close contact of cloth. I am getting bitten at work now too. Usually several bites near one another, with an oblong peak on the bump. welts persist for a week or so. Haven't seen the insect. I live on the border between nothern NV and CA. This happened last summer too.
