YES! I have suffered from hay fever my whole life, and when it gets bad I feel drowsy and lethargic with or without medication. At least medication gets rid of the other symptons and you can have a snooze in peace.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the most helpful antihistamine. in case you come back into an emergency room with a existence-threatening allergic reaction, you receives intravenous benadryl to boot to steroids and epinephrine. So for pollen allergic reactions, Benadryl works dazzling. even with the undeniable fact that, it also makes you very drained. Many over the counter sleep aids, like Tylenol PM, use diphenhydramine/Benadryl to positioned you to sleep. Claritin doesn't make you drained, so in case you want to be wide awake, that ought to correctly be a more suitable desirable selection. For me, even with the actuality that, Claritin doesn't artwork in any respect. good success.

the flu has the same symtoms, but the pollen count is the highest i have seen this year, so more than likely it is allergies, you may need a steroid, to get you over the hump of this bout of sickness, go to an asthma and allergy doctor, they are the best with this type of problem, not a regular doctor!

Yes, it seems that you have a severe case of it, you may have asthma with it as well. Go to see a doctor. Not to scare you, but if it is asthma, it can be life threatening. I have asthma and have had a few reactions like that before and the worse you feel, the longer it takes you to recuperate.
