you have a food allergy, avoid the strawberries as the condition can get worse every time, then next time your at your doctor mention this.
if the swelling doesn't go down in a little bit or gets really bad you might want to at least call a hospital, they can tell you if you need to come in or not.

Anytime anything to do with your airway swells. Yes, you should be worried.
Evidently you have an allergy to either the strawberries or something added to them or on them.
Allergic reactions can be fatal. Your tongue and throat can swell shut and cut off your airway. Anytime you have swelling in this area you are in danger.
Be sure you are not alone, and make sure if any sign of further swelling comes, you call 911 immediately.

Bizarre as it sounds, the same happens to me but only from Florida strawberries-not California. This started when I was like 6 years old. The doctor told my mother it was really the pesticide I was allergic to. Just to be safe, I only eat organic strawberries now, no matter where there from.

You are allergic to strawberries, the same thing happens to me, after I eat honey dew. My tongue and lips swell, to double there normal size. This is nothing to worry about.

You're probably allergic to the pesticides. This started happeneing to me with all citrus fruits back in the '90s right when the U.S. changed the pesticides they were using. It happened to a friend of mine at the same time. Eat organic and you'll be fine.

It is a fairly common histamine response. ie an allergy. It is probably more severe in the spring/early summer. Go talk to your doctor about it, there are many effective treatments.

Food allergy! Mine do this sometimes when I eat cantalope. I wouldn't worry unless they get worse or if they don't began to go down.
