I am an adult and just tested positive for soy allergy. I now carry an Epi-pen. I have had 2 bad reactions, but only because I was exposed to my sons Zithromax (which I am also allergic to) in addition to the soy. I don't think the soy alone will cause a life threatening reaction. Any advice?

I have seasonal allergies to tree and grass pollen and ragweed, and they've been really bad this year. I almost always have a sinus headache, and my nose is constantly stuffy and my throat is sometimes sore. I take an over-the-counter medicine, but it doesn't seem to help much. What else can I do?

My child has severe egg allergy, we have been putting off giving him MMR for 6 years now, doctors cannot decide whether it is safe or not, whether he should have it in GP or in hospital, if it will have a bad reaction or not. Anyone have any advice

I am going to an allergist in September but I need help for the meantime! I've had allergies all my life and I am allergic to things I cannot avoid, such as weeds, grass, and weird things like formeldahide. I think I am ruining my kidneys because right now I take a Claritin and 2 Sudafeds in the morning when I wake up, 2 Sudafeds every few hours throughout the day, 2 Benadryls at night, and another Benadryl in the middle of the night when I inevitably wake up sneezing and itching. I've even tried drinking apple cider vinegar, which was very unpleasant and didn't really work! Does anyone have recommendations for how to cope with allergies? Perhaps homeopathic ways that don't involve a lot of pills? Thanks!

It started last year. When allergy season started, I started coughing constantly. My doctor said it was a tickle in my chest (so when I breathe, I'd cough). She gave me a couple of different allergy medicines but none of them have worked. It when away after months of course but it started up again this year. I saw another doctor and he put me on antibiotics since allergy medicine isn't working. But the anti biotics aren't helping either. Does anyone have a possible solution?? It's annoying and since I'm a HS student, and allergy season starts during my testing periods, it's also distracting to other people. I can't stand it! please help

Please do not bother to give an answer if you are going to be flippant and give answers like, because you are allergic or similar.

I would appreciate hearing from someone who has been treated for a similar problem, with success.

I have been diagnosed as having a condition called Acute Ideopathic Angiooedema.

I've been taking Allegra-D for two months, and it's helped my allergies so much! However, I would like to know if you can take this drug year-round. My Rx is has no refills on it, I am going to call the dr. to see if he will let me have more because I have allergies all the time, not just certain times of the year. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

For some reason, I get allergic reactions to Peanut Butter. Maybe because it touched machines that process other nuts(which I AM allergic to), but when I eat peanuts straight out of the shell, NOTHING HAPPENS. And I heard that roasting and boiling changes the proteins in the Peanut which can make me have allergic reactions. So how can I make safe peanut butter?

I can't remember the exact spelling. Methyliprodosodone? It was described as either a steroid. What effects will this have on my body? What can you tell me about this drug? I was given 21 pills. Take 6 the first day and 5 the next and so on. The swelling has gone down significantly thanks to a steroid/ benadryl shot after my hand swelled up like a softball after being bitten 9 times. Lost some feeling in my hand. It later came back. I have big blisters that are filled with pus. Anyways, what can you specifically tell me about this drug? Thank you.
