Actually you can't get rid of your maxillary sinuses - you have two, one on either side of your nose and under your eyes. Your condition sounds like you have allergies which exacerbate sinusitis [or irritate your sinuses to the point of infection...for lack of saying it a better way].

Many people suffer from an infection called 'sinusitis'..that's an infection in your sinuses....where you feel pressure behind your eyes, you might have a thick mucosal (colored) discharge going down your throat or coming out of your nose, some people even experience fevers. Treating sinusitis, isn't simplistic.. It depends upon whether your infection is fungal or bacterial...some people have 'chronic sinusitis' - that's where they get the same infection many times over (it never really 'goes' away)...oftentimes, this is a fungal [blood-borne] infection treated with a certain kind of antibiotics. Other times the infection occurs and actually is cured [this type can reoccur, but each incident is a separate infection...different than chronic].

You need to get into your doctor, or more preferably an ENT specialist [that's Ear, Nose and Throat Doc]. They will offer some modes of treatment and assessment and be best to explain to you, how to treat YOUR infection.

Good luck!

Maxillary sinuses (or Antrum of Highmore) are cavities within the maxilla, the bone that forms the lower face/upper jaw. The maxillary sinuses are located just below the bony prominences of the cheeks, one beneath each eye.

The maxillary sinus is the largest paranasal sinus. Due to its location, it is related to the upper teeth, the tear ducts, and the floors of the orbital cavities. Pyramidal in shape, it sits within the body of the maxilla bone. It is lined with respiratory epithelium and contains air, or occasionally mucus during sinusitis. It is linked to the middle ear by the hiatus semilunaris.

Basically you can't get rid of maxillary sinuses!!!

Maxillary sinusitis is inflammation of the maxillary sinuses. Is this what you have??? If this is the condition you speak about then you need to first see a physician to determine the cause of your pain. There could be a number of reasons low-grade infection, allergies, cold, flu, etc. The treatment depends on the cause!!!

You probably have allergies. Try taking benadryl, allegra, claritin etc before you go out. Best to go to the doctor to verify. There are 24 hours allergy medicines that you can take every day that help.

(and you have 2 maxillary, and a total of 4 sets of sinuses)

Try this:

Drink 8 glasses of distilled water with a pinch of sea salt.

Drink a shot glass of carrot juice with a dash of cinnamon and cayenne three times a day.

Stick with it until hydration, mineralization, and circulation fix the problem.

This will fix it

Everyone has two maxillary sinuses. I am guessing you have sinusitis. You need antibiotics and possible drainage.
