making a brocoli and bacon pasta bake and ithas cream and i have a lactose intolerance child what can i use instead?

( its for an assisgnment for tafe)

You can buy a container of silken tofu (the kind in the aseptic box) and liquidize it in a blender. Silk makes creamers, but they're all flavored for your coffee. Pangea (www.veganstore.com) has vegan cream substitutes, but I have yet to try them. There's a pretty good selection of dairy substitutes there.

have you tried coconut mik? you can use it to replace milk but it is not as thick as heavy as cream
