I've had this strange bump (about the size of a penny) on my left armpit for 2 months. It got a little larger in size over the 2 months, but not by much. It is raised and it's the same color as my skin. I'm thinking of ignoring it. My sister-in-law said I shouldn't worry about it and that it happens sometimes and it will go away on its own in a few months. Is she right?

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and I LOVE peanut butter... I eat the all-natural kind...Unfortunately, I do not love the calories that come with it... is it true, that when your bloodsugar are low, your body is able to burn calories at a much faster rate. Would you suggest/allow having peanut butter during a low bloodsugar? Thanks

you know how one toe is the same length as your big toe, on one foot, and 2 are the same length as your big toe on your other foot,

well, my foot with one long toe is on my right foot, and the 2 long toes is on my left foot,

its hard to explain, but, anyway, on all of my family members toes, and alot of the other people, the toes are reversed, its strange. what does that mean medically?

I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism - I've been taking Synthroid religiously for a year. It has done nothing for me - I'm gaining weight, I'm still as tired, I walk every day and eat well 99% of the week. My MD has up'pd the dosage a few times already and says that my level is still too low.

I'm tired of feeling like crap - I want to lose weight - I'm 24 years old and weight nearly 169lbs - and I'm only 5'4 1/2". I've gained nearly 40lbs in the past 2 years - it's disgusting. I need to lose the weight - but I am having an awful time with it.

Is anyone else having issues with gaining weight on Synthroid? Or does anyone have a weight loss plan that has really worked for them when dealing with Hypothroidism?

I feel myself becoming more & more depressed with this - obviously the Synthroid meds aren't working for me. I still feel as terrible as I always have.

Anyone with any suggestions/advice/weight loss plans?

I was in the hospital for a few weeks this summer and I had a pic line in my arm (similar to an IV, but designed for longer use). Anyway, they had to put it in twice because the first time it hit the vein and clotted. This caused a sort of blood blister to develop around the area over the next few days. Now that I've been out of the hospital for a little over a month, the blood seems to have been absorbed back into the blood stream, but there's a remaining darker tint to the skin in exactly the area where the blood blister had been - like the skin's been ever so slightly stained. Is that possible?? Will the spot go away? Or am I likely stuck with this strange spot on my arm forever?

ok, so i was on the internet and i read somewhere that injecting a certain sickness right into the cancer will cause the cancer to shrink and the more you put in the more it shrinks and usually it will disappear entirely. it also said that because nobody know why this happens it is never used. it was only in an experimental stage. can anyone tell me what this specific illness was and who experimented with it?

I've had whooping cough before, once last year.
And lately in the past couple days, I've been coughing up a storm, and I remember that happening with the whoop, so, I was wondering, any one know if I can catch it twice?

My husband a few weeks ago developed a hard mass thats about a centimeter in diameter in the begining beside his right ear. I thought it was just an infected pore or a boil of some type, because i get those. Then he started to develope one a few inches away from the first one along his jaw line and now it seems to be almost "connecting" I've never seen anything like this before. I did a little google searching and only thing i could come up with is a cancerous tumor called a "Pilomatrixoma" What do you guys think of this? Any ideas of what else it might be, either way I'm going to take him for the doctor but I always like to suggest what it might be to get ground so they don't have to do more tests than they need (saves money). Any advice and/or help would be really appriciated, thanks!

I wrote a thread a couple of weeks ago that I thought I might be Hypoglycemic. Well my suspicions have been confirmed by my doctor. I have the type that I have to eat every 3 to 4 hours or I'll go into shock. I have my first real serious scare this morning. I was scared. luckily a Gater Aid helped me get though the worst of it but It took me almost three hours to feel normal again.

So my question is. What kind of things do you eat to help your blood sugar stay up. What kind of stuff do you eat if your in the situation I was in this morning. Have you ever had a serious problem (I don't know what you'd call it) like I had this morning.

my symptoms are: Shaking (my big turn on) dizzyness, Fatigue, headaches, and now a cold sweat (if I get desperite)

thank you so much!

If you take the ROCHE without first seeing your healthcare professional and avoiding the blood analysis and all that stuff - (I'd only buy and take those pills by my own). What is it that would happen?
