I get sinus infections and I don't get all those other symptoms you get, just the pressure in my face that hurts down into my teeth (that's a sure sign you have an infection)
Have you tried steaming your face? It helps, you just put water in a pot and make it really hot, but not boiling. Then you take it off the stove and put your face above it and put a towel over your head and breath in the warm steam for about 15 minutes. Don't put your face too close to the water!! :)

You're coming down with a sinus infection. You caught it early. To get rid of the symptoms, put 2 tablespoons of salt into 1/2 glass of water. Use a teaspoonfull and inhale this into each nostril. It will sting some but the infection will be stopped. To keep from getting any more, take a teaspoon of local honey each morning. It will help your body develop imunities to the airborne irritants that are in your area. You probably blew your nose too hard and created cuts or cracks inside the sinus cavities that were just waiting to become infected. Don't get hooked on nasal decongestants. They will dry up everything up there but you will not be able to get the stuff out. After a while, you'll be at the hospital getting them cleaned out with a water spray. Not fun. Been there, done that. The honey will help you from getting cold and flu symtoms as well. Natural cures and preventitives are the best for your body in the long run. No side affects, no medical bills and no long term damage to your body.

If u r wheezing do u have Asthma? Or did u just start this when u got sick?> U need a DIFF. antibiotic asap. That one is apparently not helping you.And u need to stop that wheezing immediately. Get to a Dr or an ER nthey SHOULD give you something 4 that!- If they don't tell/ask them! You prob have Bad Bronchitis or Pnemonia maby even. And u need something to dry up that mucus- are u taking aything 4 that? If not get something! U sound to me like u need a breathing treatment! Its jus meds that open up ur airway and gets rid of that mucuc thats making it hard to breathe ect U breathe it in thru a tube and it is great help when u got what u got ect. Get to a Dr/Er ASAP- I've had the same thing MANY times n until u get the correct antibiotic and decongestant you are screwed- I take 500mg Keflex And Allegra and Sometimes a low dose or "Burst Pack of Prednisone- Don;t matter if snot is clear u still need antibiotic due to the severe coughing and wheezing/trouble breathing/fever ect Good Luck!

If mucuous is clear then it make not be a bacterial infection. It is probably a viral infection and could be more in the lungs as well as the head. Never heard of the med but I am a retired nurse and new stuff comes out every day. Sounds like you need to either make another visit to the doctor. Take Tylenol for the temp and know that you can't treat viruses with antibiotics. I am so sorry. Get well soon.

The key factor in your list of symptoms there is "Snot is clear". As one who has suffered sinusitis / sinus infection numerous times in my life, and visited doctors for prescriptions, the one thing they all said was that if the "snot is clear", you don't have a sinus infection. I don't know what you have, but it's most likely NOT a sinus infection. I've had them so bad that one year the pressure behind my upper teeth got so bad that it actually pushed the molar tooth completely out of its socket, such that I had root and all fall into my bathroom sink as I was trying to gently floss my teeth. I have yet to hear a dentist or physician who has seen or heard that before, but, I knew for years, and said repeatedly, that the pressure behind those upper teeth was so painful that it was like the teeth were going to explode out of my mouth. Well, they may not have exploded out, but one very health tooth just couldn't take the pressure any more, and it slowly but surely got pushed out entirely. There was no bleeding and no disease at all in or around that socket. But for you, I'd go talk to a doctor about your symptoms, because I know that when you say "Snot is clear", you most likely do NOT have a sinus infection. Something else is wrong. God Bless you.
