I have some 'dermatitis' that is all over my entire right leg and some of my left leg that they dont know what it is. I'm taking Atarax and have some ointment the dermatologist gave me. The itching and pain is unbearable. Does anyone have any idea to help the itching (no creams/pills b/c they arent helping).

I often have itchy skin. My trick is to apply ice packs, and I have had some bad itching from medication and rashes.

put some wet towels in the freezer for about 30 minutes and wrap your leg with them. It freezes your leg and takes away the pain and itching. Keep alternating. You could go the the ER and get a dose of Methylprednisolone. It would help.
I had a terrible sunburn about 4 yrs ago in Texas and did this on my back. It gave me a lot of relief.

..sounds like you have morgellons fibers.. go to morgellons.org and compare symptoms
antifungal creams and antibiotics help , but once you get it all you can do is find a way to control the symptoms .. no one knows what it is . When I first got it 4 yrs ago , I had to carry a hair brush just to constantly itch . I hope you don't have it Its hell ..feel better

Aveeno colloidal oatmeal powder in a cool bath might also give some relief.

Have you been tested for yeast? Yeast can manifest itself in many ways. You may need to get a good probiotic. I bet it would help a lot. I have an excellent one. If you are interested I will send you the info how to get it. Click on my name and email me.
