It started out as a little blue "freckle" when he was a baby. Over the last two months, it has developed into what I can only desribe as a bluish "bubble" protruding from the white of his eye. He has a doctors appointment in the am, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar? He is now seven years old.

I have an Abscess (tissue that gets infected and forms a pocket/sac with pus in it), I went to 4 different doctors. They prescribed me ANTIBIOTICS...today I went to the OB-GYN...this Doctor said they didn't prescribe me the right Antibiotics...so...he swabbed the abscess to test out what bacteria was causing this...He said that with the right Antibiotics it will go away...this Abscess is not deep...and its in the worst area possible...Oh yeah...he said no surgery is required...I had it drained once but its still here to stay..arr...

Has anyone had this problem?? And, does Antibiotics really make it go away?

He had rotator cuff surgery 5 weeks prior. His medication was increased 1 week prior to his death. He was taking APAP 5.0 500MG Hydrocodone. This was increased to APAP 7.5 500MG Hydrocodone. He also visited his family doctor one week prior to his death to check blood work. His liver enzymes were "mildly" elevated. He seemed fine when he went to bed that evening. The medical examiner's report came back with "liver failure due to alcohol" because there was alcohol in his system. Can this be accurate?

I have been feeling dizzy for about 2 months now(it started all of a sudden one evening), I can not focus, I have these crisis of diziness where I barely resist on my feet. The doctors did a CT, MRI, and all sorts of blood tests. They came out fine. Recently (7 days ago) I got checked for glucose, at about 2 pm and it was around 56. Yesterday morning after breakfast 79, then 109, this morning before breakfast 124 and today after lunch 137. I urinate a lot... Am I diabetic? I am 26 and I dont have any family members with diabetes.

My neighbour is going in for surgery tomorrow as a last ditch effort to get rid of her cancer (ovarian cancer). She's gone through 5 rounds of chemo already and this is pretty much the last thing she is willing to try before giving up.
I was thinking of getting her flowers but that doesn't seem like enough. What's a good thing to get/do for her before she goes in for surgery to let her know I'm thinking of her?
