Are you sure it is the salt causing the allergy?

Table salt comes in 2 forms, iodised and not iodised.
Some people are allergic to iodine, in which case they are also allergic to iodised salt. These people are usually allergic to shellfish as well.

It is not possible to be allergic to salt. Sodium chloride floats around in your blood all the time. You can't get rid of it and live. On the other hand you could be allergic to something in the salt, such as a contaminant. Excess salt, particularly with certain health conditions like heart and kidney disease, can cause fluid retention and other serious problems.

It is not possible to be allergic to salt. Salt is required for life, if you were truly allergic the allergy would kill you instantly.

im allergic to a salt idk which kind but i get sick if i get that salt instead of normal salt i get sick like a cold but it last for a day maybe 2 sometimes or i get hives
