I live in Guntersville Alabama and I just went to Birmingham to see my dermatologist today. She is wonderful. Her name is Vera Soong - here's her phone # 205-781-6995.
I've been going to dermatologists for 15 years and she's been the best I've ever been to. I'll never go anywhere else.
And here's a funny little note - I was in there in the lobby today and sitting right across from me was Randy Owens - the lead singer of the group Alabama. I dont' know how old you are but they were the big time back in the 80's. Ha! I couldn't believe he was in there at the same time I was. Anyway, back to Dr. Soong - I have had psoriasis for 15 years and had been to doctor after doctor in my area and surrounding areas. She was recommended to me so I tried her and she was the first doctor that has ever cleared me up. You should give her a try. She's a little drive from you - like she is me, but it's well worth it! Good luck!
**If you can't drive to Birmingham, then try the yellow pages under Physicians - then Dermatology

your regular doctor might be able to recommend one for you.
that way, you get a trustworthy recommendation and the hours/ location of the dermatologist.

You could also try your health Insurance provider, they usually have a list of Doctors in your plan and their locations.
Good Luck
