For the last year or so, whenever I shower, I get this odd blotchy rash on my legs. Nowhere else, only my legs, and it doesn't itch or hurt or anything.
I've used the same soap for years, and it only appears on my legs, thats it.

On my left thigh, I have a birthmark. I'm very self concious about it. Its an oval shape and about 3/4 of an inch in length and 1/2 inch wide. Would you stare at my birthmark if you saw it? Should I have it removed? It isn't cancerous....but I really don't like it. My parents think I should keep it because my sister has one on her thigh as well...but hers is so far up no one can see it when she wears shorts....

she has food that goes to her lungs. The Doctors says that they cant do anything for her. So she gets Pneumonia real easy. They say that she can never sleep flat on a bed or eat in a chair she has to eat standing up,so that she wont asperrate. and has to wait at least 3 hours to sleep in a chair. I wish someone could do surgery or something. Please try to help me.Thanks so much

I have a few small pimples inbetween my eyebrows. They go away after a few days but i want to get rid of them asap! And the pimples always come back in the same place so what's a way to prevent them?

I did some recent digging on line for statistics regarding the absolute effectiveness of chemotherapy and came across a number of websites that are very critical of chemotherapy. They often cite a book by Ralph Moss entitled, "Questioning Chemotherapy," which apparently demonstrates that chemotherapy doesn't really provide any long term survival advantages for most types of cancer. While I'm skeptical of the many alternative therapies promoted to treat cancer, I also wonder if chemotherapy really has that much value, or if it's just being used by the medical profession because nothing else has come along yet to replace it.

We did have unprotected sex (obviously at that time, we had no idea that he was infected). He has never had any symptoms of herpes. Beacause he came out positive, I had myself tested. My doc did an IGG blood test and it came out negative. It has been about 20 days since the last time intercoarse took place and we did use a condom. My question is this. Once you are infected, will it show up in the IGG test? Or is there an incubation pieriod before the test can detect it? I did have another IGG blood test ran today. I dont have the results yet, but if they are negative does that mean I am in the "clear"? Do I need to be tested again? And if I do have it, how do I tell my new partner? I feel disgusting, I am not sure how I could have even put myself in this situation!

I have had this problem for over a year but it has gotten worse over last few months- I have to urinate verryyy often and can't hold it for very long.I mean 4 times per hour is my average which is very frustrating also I constantly feel pain in my bladder or urithra- I have better and worse days with that......I have been going to a doctor ..have taken anibiotics : Bactrum, Cipro- didn't help etc but I didn't have a urinary track infaction..........since the ydid the tests and it showed I didn't have it. not diabetic either.....Please don't tell me to go to a doctor because I have been going there over a year and i have tried a few options, don'...I they don't know what is wrong with me.My feet get cold very often even if I wear two pair of socks and then the problem and painpersists...I go to the bathroom and once I come back I have to go again.I haven't seen a specialist because i have no insurance but will go b/c can't stand it!

At what point does mono become CFS? I have tested postive for EBV (first time ever) and will be retested in another 2 weeks. My pcp has said not to worry and given me no instructions of what not to do, to take it easy or anything else to cause alarm. Also, my cardiac function is slightly compromised, I assume this is common to EBV. My question is, at what point should I actually start to worry about this and is there really nothing that I can do other than let it just resolve?

I'm also wondering if you can contract herpes from sitting on the same toilet seat as someone who has herpes. Just curious? I have a family member who has contracted it and she uses my restroom and I'm curious if I could also get it. And she wants to know how often people have outbreaks??

my father and i are having a big arguement about shingles.he is trying to tell me that once you get it once you will never have it again.

i was told over 20 years ago by a doctor that i had shingles whenever i get stressed or my immune system is low i get another outbreak.

my father said this is impossible.

so does anyone know a link to a medical site to prove him wrong?
