For the last year or so, whenever I shower, I get this odd blotchy rash on my legs. Nowhere else, only my legs, and it doesn't itch or hurt or anything.
I've used the same soap for years, and it only appears on my legs, thats it.

It could be your skin reacting to the temperature of the water. Especially if your skin is really tight (which skin tends to be around your leg area). I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it goes away after a day.

Don't rule out that you may be having a minor allergic reaction or that one of your shower products are causing your symptoms. Some allergies develop over time or get worse as you get older. I never knew this as I've always been allergy free but the past few years I've seemed to pick up some allergies to things that never bothered me before. It may be something else too. I would watch it for another week and if it doesn't go away or it gets any worse I would make an appointment with your doctor or a dermatologist. Sometimes rashes can't be explained and go away on their own just as fast as they appeared.

This happens to alot of people in areas such as the legs and chest due to the skin being tight and the sudden change in temp. makes the skin react differently to what is happening. As long as this goes away a couple hours after bathing then there is nothing to worry about.

I know the same thing happens to me, but i get it all around its due to the temputure of the water try using colde water or warm instead of hot if that doesnt work try buing some skin creams to put on after the shower, and still if nothing works go see a doctor!
