I have dermatitis and the only thing that has worked for me is a mixture of two creams the dermatologist gave me it's Eladil and Nizoral creams. I use it twice a day & I don't have any flare ups. You must remember, there's NO cure for dermatitis but it can be managed. I used to use a cortisone cream sold over the counter, but if you use too much of that it can age your skin. Eladil is a non-steroid cream that prevents the itch & flakes & Nizoral is an anti-fungal which is used to combat the fungus that is thought to cause dermatitis & dandruff. Good Luck.

I know this isn't what you want to hear but E45 is more of a moisturiser than dermatitis treatment. Really you need to find what is causing the outbreaks and avoid it, if it's something you are handling try using a barrier cream or gloves.
I had years of different creams that didn't work.
