Have you tried alternative medicine practices? Honestly, I would say to go to a doctor, but I assume you have been to more than one... I know MANY people who have been to doctor after doctor for various health issues and ended up at an accupunturist / accupressurist and seen great results. Many times these eastern medicine practitioners will also give you herbal teas/supplements to help in conjunction with their therapy. At this point, can it hurt to see if other options can help you?? Good luck.

You may be suffering from a "neurogenic" bladder dysfunction.Primary symptom is overflow incontinence. This isn't a difficult problem to treat and manage.Your family practice MD should be able to help. The problem with your feet getting hot & cold is also a sign that there is a peripheral nerve type problem going on.Infection is not the problem. Many underlying problems including a B-12 deficency may be the blame. Please see your MD again and talk about the possibility. There are several new drugs out that treat overactive bladder conditions.Take care. If you are not emptying your bladder completely, then you may have a blockage in your urethra bulb itself. My husband had this, so he went frenquently and had a hard time going too. Yes, he had to be dialiated but it closed back up again. You need to see a proffessor or urology. If this is the case, you will need a surgery procedure. Only a handful of doctors know how to do this and they all are proffessors of urology, usually at major hospitals. For example Chicago of university. Dr. Bales. This piticular surgery impants a mesh that bonds with the tissue and the flow stays open and then after healing, you are all normal again. It is painful, I watched my husband suffer really bad and the doc said it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. It is possibile that you have a stricture in the bulbus urethra. This will cause inflamation and allot of pain as well. The implant is called a Urolume Prosthesis. My husband suffered for years as well until he found the perfect doctor that knew what the heck was wrong with him. I hope you find the right doctor. A professor of urology. Good Luck to you. P.S. I hope nothing is wrong with your bladder.

It sounds to me like you have the same problem I do."An over active bladder." For almost 2 years I had this problem. I couldn't even go anywhere. Even to just go down the street was a big problem. I had to constantly urinate and most restaurants won't let you use their bathroom unless you're a customer. It took going to a Uro-gynecologist for her to figure out what is was. I now take DitropanXL 10mg. The problem has been improving. I was told to also do Kegel exercises which I really haven't been doing to much as I find it very difficult to do. Anyways ask your Doctor about this possibility. Here's a site with some info regarding symptoms, diagnoses, treatment. You'll have to scroll have way down to finish reading.

Basically they are the same thing. The bladder infection is inside the bladder. The urinary tract infection is coming from the bladder...out. Either way it's a painful thing.

Not sure what state you live in, but you can usually go to the emergency room, and then you can make payments later and in California they have a low income program at the emergency rooms, they will charge you less. But in the ER they can run all the tests and they usually have specialists in the hospital, this is the best advice I can give you since you don't have insurance. Good Luck, really you should go to the ER.

There are drugs specifically for this condition - urgency to urinate & I'm surprised your doctor hasn't tried you on one. I'd contact your doctor again & ask if they are familiar with the drugs - if not call around and find someone who is. Sorry, I only remember the commercials - not the drug maker or drug name.
