for my sinus infection. The past few days my gums have been painful. They are raw and red on the back lower side of my mouth near the jaw. I am wondering if the ear infection caused the gum discomfort. I cant eat anything on my right side due to the sensitivity. My wisdom teeth have plenty of room to come in so it cant be that. Please help.

Like before a root canal, cavity fillings, etc. It wouldn't be any complications or anything, would it?

Bonding seems like an inexpensive way to fix the small gaps between my teeth. Is this a reversible process if the resin color doesn't match or if down the road I can afford porcelain veneers?

Dentist said the tooth (lower right, 2nd from the back) would be difficult to remove and he would have to cut parts of it off in order to remove it. I was the last patient of the day and I heard him say, "let's see if we can just pull it out." It's been a few days and I still have pain and there's a big gash in my gums making it feel as if it is swollen.

I had my first one done last week. Even though I have insurance I had to pay $300.00 up front. It seems to be going in steps. Went back yesterday for a crown fitting and had to pay nearly $400.00. My insurance covers $1500.00 of work a year, but it sounds like it will all be used up on one tooth. I had done no research prior to having this done.

It stings when I make a sucking motion....like to gather my saliva before i swallow type thing....
it feels like a big sliver....very stingy.....but I don't think it's a sliver cuz I looked....and the pain is also under my tooth it's such a sharp pain....not like a normal cavity.

I can't afford to go pay some dentist hundreds of dollars....I've been so sick lately and missed work I'm only getting 300 on my next cheque and i need to pay bills what do i do???
and what could be the problem?

It's the bottom left molar closest to the front....it's also a baby....I'm 21 yrs old....but Iwon't get an adult tooth there.
They pulled the same tooth on the other side.

An oral surg.said I could wait 2 yrs,he would then look at it again. Is it possible for me not to have the tooth and cyst removed at all?I understand the operation can be somewhat risky. The surgeon also said that for the consultation he must advise me to remove it but if he saw me on the street he would tell me not to worry unless it bothered me.I'm not sure how to interpret that.Any ideas?

Hi,

Could do with abit of advice before I go see my dentist on Friday. I had 4 veneers done on my upper front teeth back in August this year and on the whole I was pleased with the results.

For the last 2 months or so I've noticed 1 of the front teeth with a veneer on has moved outwards slightly and is noticeable, at least to me anyway. They were all straight to begin with and paying so much money to get them done in the first place I'm now not happy and want to do something about it.

I would like to know whether that would mean having to pay for another veneer to re-allign it with my other teeth that are veneered, or whether there was a procedure to file the veneer down to make it thinner and therefore more in line with the rest?

I'm guessing it's the tooth that's at fault? I was told because I have hd fillings in this tooth previously, it's not as strong? I have also been using a mouthguard on my bottom teeth when whitening them, is this catching my upper tooth moving it?

I just had white tooth fillers on my low two teeth. They are very sensitive whenever they are slightly touched by anything solid; food or the upper teeth. When I drink liquids they do hurt but in a much lower rate.
I just had them in less than 24 hours. Is it normal that they are this sensitive? How much it will take till the sensitivity disappears? Should I pay another visit to the dentist? how should I know I had bad teeth filling? I feel very discomfort.

In February, It will be two years since I had 2 root canals and crowns. The one crown broke as soon as I left when I ate something. He replaced it. My gums around them have been red and swollen most of the time. I switched dentists after that.

About a week ago One of them became loose after they were really irritated. I went to the new Dentist who thought that I might be biting down hard on it and causing the ligament to stretch and he adjusted my bite.

Today, I was eating chips and that tooth broke, half the post of the root canal and the whole crown fell out.

I decided to call the old dentist since he did the work and since he has an emergency number where as my new dentist doesn't have an emergency number.

The old Dentist said to call when they open in the morning and schedule a time to be fit in. It doesn't really hurt since I have no nerve there. I thought that since he did the work, it should be covered and paid for by him like the first one was.

I've really gotten into using Vanilla Mint Listerine and have started using it 4x a day... I like the fresh taste and clean feeling it gives me. Is it bad to disinfect my mouth that often though? The bottle says to use it once in the AM and once in the PM, but it doesn't say anything about using it more than that.
