2 weeks ago I had my labret peirced. In the past week or so I have noticed that when I lie down in bed, my two front bottom teeth get the same feeling as when you bite down on tin/aluminum foil. I think maybe because the peircing is pressing against my teeth. any ideas?

My five year old is going to have a front, milk tooth taken out at the dentist tomorrow, with local anaesthetic. It is a double rooted tooth, so more difficult to remove than normal, I think. Will he have to wait between the injection and the dentist taking it out? How long will it take? How long after is it likely to hurt for? Is it ok to have a friend to play the same evening?

the tooth itself does not hurt and appears to be set properly, but the part closest to the gum is protruding out at a point and rubbing against my cheek and irritating the cheek especially when I chew. since the tooth is in good shape and does not hurt can the part of the tooth that is protruding out into my cheek and irritating it be grinded away by a dentst? I am 53 yr old male

i have had 7 root canals....3 of them have failed and i have to have an apicoectomy on all 3 of them...i'm not worried about any of the pain or swelling afterwards...my concerns are:

1..is it a bad procedure?
2..will i have to have anesthesia or can i just be numbed?
3..is what i will hear and feel during the procedure similar to
having a root canal?

if anybody has had this procedure recently, please give me some insight on what to expect...

I had a root canal 5 months ago almost to the day. I haven't went in to get the crown put on yet (exceeded my insurance maximum for this year so was going to 01-02-08), so it just has a big filling. Surprise, today I ate something and part of my tooth broke. Now what? Can it be fixed? Or am I going to lose the tooth?
