Yes, everyone who brushes twice a day for 2 minutes a time (total, minimum 4 mins a day) is guaranteed good oral hygiene and health, therefore greatly reducing the risk of gum disease and cavities, you should also floss after brushing and then use a mouthwash such as Listerine total care. If your gums bleed when you are brushing thats a good sign that you are cleaning properly, getting to all those places which haven't been brushed in ages, gums only bleed because bacteria have been allowed to cause a build of of dental plaque in that area. I spend approx 10 mins everyday doing the whole brushing/flossing/mouthwashing thing it IS worth it!

It takes a minimum of two minutes to brush every surface of every tooth in your mouth, plus your gums and tongue...the key word here is 'brush' and not 'slide over'... When you wash dishes, do you get them clean by spending time on it or just do a quick wipe? It's the same with brushing your teeth~
....and it's not two minutes a day, it's two minutes each time you brush........

I actually brush for more then 2 minutes.
I get every nook and cranny of my teeth.
Although everyone need to brush for atleast 2 minutes a day.
Whats wrong with 2 minutes?
The majority of America does brush their teeth for 2 or more minutes a day.
You act like 2 minutes is 2 hours.

I brush my teeth for about 5 minutes maybe less depending on if I'm in a rush.
But heyyyyyy whats dirty teeth and bad breath to anybody huh ?
Btw 2 minutes on teeth with braces means you aren't brushing correctly at all so maybe you need to learn how..........food stuck in braces SOOOOO attractive........NOT!

it is a good idea, so you can get each & every tooth & tongue clean
a water pic is a good investment, i have a lot of crowns & that is the only way to get cleaned up even after brushing & flossing
FLOSS EVERY DAY, it is VERY IMPORTANT !
not just for your dental health but your overall health
