I get these extreme migraines from my tooth ache I have right now. I can't go to the dentist until next week so I'm forced to deal with it with any way I can. The symptoms are intermittent (Every 5-10 minutes it starts hurting for about a minute), and the degree of this pain is beyond tolerable.

I wish I would just pass out from being overwhelmed in so much pain. Tylonel or any other aspirin isn't an option since I've already reached the maximum I can take for the day and it has done anything to help anyway. Anyone know if there is something I can do to at least get me to sleep? I'm completely sleep deprived because of this.

GAG! What products can anyone recommend?? Any helpful denture hints? I am only 40 so I don't have many peers who have any knowledge at all.

I am in the process of having a root canal done again because it failed the first time. The dentist doesnt know why it failed the xrays were fine and antibiotics didnt help so there was no infection either. Now that he has removed the treatment and put a temporary filling on the tooth there is no pain at all in that tooth.

Which is all good but surely when he does it again it will start hurting again because he will do the same as last time as he doesnt know what went wrong last time in order to correct it this time?

I had 2 bottom teeth extracted, number 18 and 19 which are molars. On number 19, I'm having an implant put in. My Dentist said that the graft will not take, if I continue to smoke cigarettes. Is this true? Any smoker's out there that have had dental implants, can you verify this for me?

My daughter is 8 years old, her teeth are big and jar is small. The orthodontist wants to extract 4 teeth to make sure her teeth look symmetrical. Plus she has a hidden tooth in front, so that one has to be out by oral surgery. Is this common? Do you hear any bad experience about the extract teeth at this age? You help is very much appreciated.

Every since I got my teeth finished I keep getting a blister, or puss pocket on my gum, it is right under my back tooth. I try to pop it and it is so hard, almost feels like I have bone sticking out right there, there is a black dot, like pepper in the middle. When I pop it, some stuff does come out, kinda taste like metal. I am just wondering if it could be bone, infection, or maybe where I got the novovaine shot?

Can I use bactrim antibiotic for a tooth infection or penicillin for a bladder infection. Basically I had a tooth infection but its gone now, I have a bladder infection. I have run out of one antibiotic but have a lot of the other. So in the interim, can I use either and would they be equally effective?

and yes I realize I have to replace good bacteria in the gut that is lost when taking antibiotics, so I am taking acidophilus too.

i had a tooth next to the front teeth removed yesterday as it got broken and was loose. it was very quick and i didnt feel it. but my gum and the teeth surrounding are saw. there also feels to be a 'bubble' in the gap, if you know what i mean. im a complete idiot & wuss and daren't look in the mirror. it doesnt hurt alot. but i wondered if this was normal and how long the sawness would last.

also, in about 4-6 weeks im going back to have a bridge fixed, but what does this actually entail?
