My son didn't get his first tooth until he was 10 months old! then four of them came in at the same time. He is now 15 months and only has 6 teeth! It is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. it just means that they will get their adult teeth in later too. Enjoy it, my son has a problem with bitting! His sharp little teeth hurt!

My daughter got them in at 2 months. Ask your mom if you got teeth in late as a baby. She should have 1 by 12 months

Honestly...it is OK. My youngest daughter did not get her first tooth until she was 15 months old! I was so worried because my first child had a mouthful of teeth by that age. Suddenly one day they started popping in...she has had no problems and now has a beautiful smile.

Some children take longer to reach milestones than others. My nephew was almost a year before his teeth came in, but he is a completely healthy two year old now. Don't worry about it yet, some things just take time.

It is a heredity factor- ask your mom about when you and any of your siblings got their teeth-- some people are early, some are later and the next pediatric visit, discuss this with your doc.
