is fluoride used in any medication for infants-toddlers?i don't know what the name of the medication,but i do know that i was sick as a baby,and had to take it.two of my teeth came out with white/brown spots.my dentists says this came from excessive amount of fluoride.if anyone knew some names of some popular medicines that have fluoride that i could have been taking,i'd be much obliged :)

You would not find fluoride in any medicine except for vitamins with fluoride. Not that I know of, anyway. There are many other medications that cause discoloration, such as some antibiotics, though.

Yes, fluoride can cause tose white spots on your teeth when it is taken in excessive amount.
Zimmafluor is one of the fluoride medicines.

c actually wen consuming fluoride in a big amount during the development especially during mineralization of the tooth ,,it causes flurorosis which is if mild appears as a white or brown spots,,,as occured in u,,,n ya u r right fluoride is indicated as a medicine coz it has anti caries action,,,BUT BUT BUT dont worry furide cant harm u now coz it just harms u wen the teeth are in their developing stage (but dont go for high fluoride intake as it can cause knocking knee),,,,,so dats wat i know ,,,fluorine is gud but excess of it is bad.....i cant name of such brand names coz i m a dentist in india so they differ...........

Flouride is chemically created and is NOT good for you. It is one of the most harmful things women unknowingly take while pregnant. It's in our water and toothpaste and should NOT BE...

My brother-in-law is a dentist, and when I was pregnant with my boys he strongly discouraged me from taking flouride supplements while pregnant. I thought he was crazy and with my oldest, I did in fact take it dispite his advice. Then I read up more on it.

There is a book called "Natural Cures They Don't Want Us To Know About" In that book I read the truth about flouride and many other things we take... WOW!!!
