Iv'e had full denture's for a little over 3 week's , I'm getting close to having being comfortible,My problem is i drink coffee all day long,No booze anymore, I use Fixodent control,
They are fine but late in the day the bottom's come loose, Is there a better hold ? Don't say stop the coffee, Thank you

I went to the lady dentist, she examined my teeth, my teeth are bad and i know it. She removed 2 and 3 molars on right and left side, and she said she is going to put for me a bridge on all my upper teeth with 2 extra molars on each side that would be attached to the bridge. I wanted to get flexible dentures, but she said they are not going to hold. I wanted to have lumeneers for my crowns because they were sightly different color in the front but she said i cannot do that. She removed my old crowns for the bridge, and also filed all my front teeth.She had some temporary crowns ordered, but they did not fit. I asked why is that, she said that the master who does them wanted to decieve her and he made the crowns for all my upper teeth. She wanted to charge me 50 dollars for every tooth too, before she saw that it doesn't fit.
Then she made some ugly temporary crowns for my teeth really fast, and she tried to tell me that she did that because my gums have to heal.
What do you think?

Hey I have a problem and I would like it if some of you helped me with it. The fixed rubber bands on my braces got loose because I ate candy when I shouldn't have and so I pulled them out using floss because I couldnt stand having them loose in my mouth. So now they are off. Is that dangerous or bad for my braces that the fixed rubber band is off? You know what Im talking about, the main rubber band that connects your braces. Please help, I dont see my ortho until Tuesday.

My ex is supposed to pay 1/2 of all uncovered medical/dental expenses, and my son needs braces. Is it possible to get the ortho's office to send him a bill and hold him responsible for his part, or will I have to pay it all and then deal with the ex on my own? Any ideas or other options? If possible, I'd like to hear from someone who works in an ortho's office or who has been in the same situation.

i am about to get braces my k9's never came in and i went for a consultation and he told me that i am going to have to have 8 teeth pulled i am kinda freaked out about this my teeth arent all that bad and it doesnt seem that i need to make that much room for my k9's to come in... How do i find a good orthodontist?

I have had alot of work done at my dentist over the years as far as fillings at the gum line, I just recently had to get one RE Filed from one he had already filled, it fell out when i was brushing my teeth, and the root got exposed whih hurt worse and i had to pay a second time for that procedure, Dentist are high enough i cannot keep continuing going back over his work and getting this fixed twice, this is the second fillng from him ive had to get refilled.
Now hes saying if i dont pay my remaining bill in 10 days that hes turing me in to collections, but you know what why do i want to pay him when i jsut paid another dentist to fix his work.

Does anyone know what i can do about this..... THANKS

I got my teeth whitened by using zoom 2 today and the results were great. The only problem is that my teeth hurt sooo bad. the pmaphlet said to take tylenol.. but i did and it didn't do anything. My teeth didnt start hurting untill about 3 hours after i left the office. The only thing i could think of was hot water.. i have been putting small amounts of hot water in my mouth and spitting it out when it gets colder... for about 2 hours now and it just is unbearable!!! I need to know if there is a better way

i just got braces tuesday and now its saturday and the front teeth still hurt and i cant even bite the sofest things with it because of the presure. how long do i have to wait before i cant start eating normally. i asked my bro who had them too, still has them actually, and he said he doesnt know because he just started eating whether they hurt or not. please help or i cant brush my teeth ! :(:(:(:(

When I was younger I took amoxicillin for ear aches. Once I reached to 3rd and 4th grade I had "freckles" on my teeth. Kids were relentless at making me miserable and making me feel bad about my teeth. I eventually got my teeth shaved down. Once they shaved the "freckles" off my teeth though my teeth turned this yellow color. I am now very conscience about my teeth. I have tried crest whitening strips and other home remedies but none seem to work, because my teeth are stained all the way through. I am wondering if there is anyway to get my teeth white thet doesnt cost tens of thousands of dollars (like veneers do). Please help I need some answers so I can let go of my teeth issues!

The black bits don't hurt, I'm told, but they are new. They circle under the few bottom teeth and look as if they run into the gums there as well. This friend does not see a dentist regularly, but does not have yellowed teeth and recently one of the teeth with the black bits chipped away at the back, like a sliver came out of it. There is not a cavity where it chipped, and it does not hurt, but you can see a gap between the two bottom teeth where they should meet instead. I'm told there are also no fillings present in or near these areas. WHat is this disease process and what is likely to happen if this person keeps refusing to see a dentist?

I'm 15 and am going to be getting braces for the second time next month. I'm getting ceramic braces and I want them to be the least noticable that they can be. Has anyone had ceramic braces with clear or white bands? Would you recommend clear or white?

I thought white ones might make my teeth look whiter from a distance, but may look bad up close because my teeth aren't as bright as they are.

I think i have dry socket and the pain isn't to bad, the smell is.The hole is closing,once the hole closes will the pain and smell go away?I don't want to go bk to the dentits.I'm doing the salt water and the antiboics.taking advil for pain.

I had my invisalign for a week and now i want to go to the club this weekend but i know i am going to want to drink. I have to wear my aligners for 22 hrs. Here's the dilemma, do i leave my aligners out before i go to the club and put them back in afterwards (which will be about 3 hrs) or do i leave the aligners in and drink light liquor then brush and floss when i get home? Please help!
