There is no natural way to get rid of cavities (dental caries).
The only “natural”, but very extreme way to get rid of cavities is to remove the tooth, which I do not recommend.
Your dentist should be able to offer various treatment options depending on how bad your cavity is.
Minor tooth cavities can be reversed by using fluoride, for larger cavities your dentist will have to use fillings, as for severe tooth decay an inlay, onlay or crown may be the answer. Extreme cases may require root canal treatment, and the last measure is the extraction of the tooth.
Always remember that prevention is the best option: brushing, flossing and regular visits to the dentist.

I do not intend to be rude, but in case you are thinking about using sassafras, I would like to add that before sassafras was discovered to be carcinogen, it was used to cure many different conditions, and although its danger is frequently exaggerated, the FDA banned sassafras volatile oil as a food additive.
Sassafras bark’s essential oil (safrole) was used in dentistry as a pain killer and an antiseptic.
A safrole free sassafras extract is now available, but there are still questions about its potentially cancerous properties, so I would be cautious.

There is a natural way to heal cavities! Look on the internet for the healing properties of Xylitol in connection with tooth cavities which prevents them spreading and may (if they are small) heal them. The healing is called remineralisation and helps to restore the enamel. Every part of the body has an ability to heal itself and so do teeth.

Here are a few articles for you to look at:

I hope this helps! Remember that if you have pain or you can see that the cavity starts to grow you must go to the dentist immediately because you could form complications such as an absess and need root canal treatment or even extraction. Be prepared for the healing to take a good few months. It is not an overnight thing. Also try drinking Green Tea - great for protecting teeth :)

Good luck! Fingers crossed the cavities heal :)

PS Can i just ask Dr Sam (I see you're a dentist) do you really recommend filling them with 'bark'? I thought that was some kind of a joke!

The only way to get rid of cavities naturally is what the above person said, pull it out.

You can buy some temporary filling at Walgreens or Rite Aid, but this is only TEMPORARY.

You need to go to the dentist to have them fill it before it gets any worse. It doesn't hurt.

Start brushing and flossing more to prevent new cavities from forming.

I don't know that you can. All you can do is take good care of them and if you get a cavity it's best to go to the dentist so you can get it filled.

you can't get rid of them naturally.. Unless you pull the tooth out.

But you can prevent other ones from accuring if you swish with some of that fluride you buy for kids everday. Makes the enamel on your teeth stronger.

You can only prevent them, you can't repair them. Even dentists can't put your teeth back together after that...they have to be filled to make up for the parts of your teeth that have rotted out.

No of course not. You'll just have to go to the dentist and get them taken care of.

Fill them with ground up sassafras bark. If that doesn't work, I guess you'll have to go to the dentist.
