I Currently am suffering from an abscessed tooth. I know I need to go to the dentist. However, my situation is as such, that I cannot go to a dentist right now. In the past, I have been prescribed penicillin, ampicillin, and erythromycin for my abscesses. This time I have Dicloxacillin to cure the infection. Because it was not prescribed by a dentist, I am wondering if it will work. I always thought that specific antibiotics took care of specific infections. Opposed to any antibiotic can taking care of any affection. If so then why have so many different antibiotics on the market? Oh yeah, for the money (how could I forget). Anyway thanks for your input

I can't remember if a tea bag was good for an actual "tooth ache" or if it would help her when she already had her tooth pulled out. Anybody know?

Straight teeth. Its all for straight teeth. I will have to remove two upper molars, and then wear some metal for a couple of years. After that, I will have to wear a reatainor if I want them to stay the way they are...in your book, is it worth it?
What would you say to be the pros and cons of not getting braces? And getting braces?

I was thinking about using them, but my friend had a tooth ache for about three days. Anyone else have this problem? I'm currently using the Crest Night Effects and it's alright but I think I'd get better results with the strips...

I got a root canal a few months ago and it was waking me up every night with pain so I got it redone 5 days ago. It was fine until last night- it was unbearable!! The tooth has no absess and no infection so it is a mystery. Does anyone have any ideas?? I'm on the verge of getting it pulled and I really don't want to.

It is so annoying when I drink and eat or even talk. What should I do to make it more bearable. I was told it will take at least a week to go away and it is a sign that I am coming down with something. I feel tired and coming down with a cold or something to that nature.

Does it work well? is it uncomfortable? any downsides? is it a better alternative to braces if your teeth just have small gaps that need fixing?

I do - though I'm not very old.

What was it like? What did you do with it?

I'm just interested.

I never got to put mine under the pillow because I swallowed it accidentally.
Stupid chewy Refresher bar.
I swear I was just eating part of the sweet, but I couldn't seem to bite into it so I just gave up and swallowed it. Then I felt a gap in my mouth.
