You shouldn't swallow too much of it. Remember, you can use mouthwash or toothpaste, niether of which you are supposed to be swallowing, but they are good for your teeth.

Peroxide generate nacent oxygen in reaction which is good to kill those bacteria which sit on dental enamel and cause sensitive tooth and caries. However, they are used in real mild doses and moreover teeth are like bones, can't be damaged easily. However, stomach mucosa is delicate. Same peroxide acts like poison which burns it. Nacent oxygen if not controlled is dangerous for any living tissue.

Almost any thing in excess can be toxic. Nobody mentioned this, but a study that came out in about 1995 linked excessive oral exposure to hydrogen peroxide to an increased risk for oral cancer due to either the presence or creation of free radicals. I just wanted to inform people. There are times when rinsing (& spitting it out) with hydrogen peroxide can be a good short term treatment for gingivitis. Please, don't use it on a daily basis for more than a couple of weeks unless your dentist has prescribed that & you remain under his/her observation.

when you apply peroxide on your teeth... it is meant to be applied ONLY on your teeth. if you plan to rinse your mouth with it, then it's meant to just rinse, not swallow. if you read the bottle, it also says to dilute peroxide when you rinse your mouth with it
as with many things... if you ingest it and it's not "natural" for your body to intake, it's considered poison!
if you look at teeth whitening products, they all contain hydrogen peroxide. if it's so bad, why do they make these products?

i drank a whole bottle of that ****. i watched a family guy episode where they all drank a bottle of it and puked their guts out afterwards. thats pretty much what happens. i felt really ill, then puked very hard, vomiting out some weird looking phlegmy stuff. i was glad to have it out, frankly. afterwards i felt really really really horrible, like i was gonna die. i had my mom get me some ph strips so i could make sure my ph was ok. it was super acidic. i just tried to drink water, and after a few hours i started feeling a little better. it was pretty hellish.

Are your teeth and your stomach the same thing or different things? WOW are people REALLY this slow or does this appeal to some sort of degenerate sense of humor?
