Yes it's normal, especially after your dentist took an xray of your mouth, and was able to see that your wisdom teeth were growing in improperly and would cause you future problems. I've heard stories where people's wisdom teeth have pushed their relatively straight teeth out of alignment. Therefore, it is to your advantage to have them removed. You will experience some discomfort after it's all over, but after a few days, you will be fine.

Wisdom teeth tend to be troublesome. They are so far back it is hard to brush them and floss between them and they are prone to tooth decay. Because of evolution, our jaws got smaller and there is not enough room for them in most people. Some people never have them.
It is normal for them to take them out even if they are still under the skin. All they do is get a scalpel and cut an opening so it is visible. It doesn't matter if they are visible or not, that's part of the reason for the X-ray. Don't worry, you'll be nice and numb. Then if there isn't any bone in the way, they'll proceed with the extraction and suture you up when you are done. You won't miss your teeth anyway.

It's normal for the oral surgeon to tell you that they all need to be removed at the same time (that's how they make their money), it's not necessary unless they're all impacted or causing an infection or pain. A lot of people buy into it, but for me it seems like replacing all four tires just because one went flat.

It is perfectly normal to get you wisdom teeth pulled out before they break skin. The human mouth is too small for wisdom teeth, so they need to be pulled. Get them out before they start to hurt. Good luck. You won't have any fun over the next few days but it will be better than having a sore mouth for years like I did.

I guess its up to your dentist. I had one wisdom tooth come in
but it wasn't othering me so my dentist said to let it be. But a
few years the other one on top came in and it was coming in
sideways, toward the center of my mouth and I could tell
something was wrong as I kept biting my cheek. So he
said that both the top ones had to come out to keep my
mouth balanced. But the bottom ones never came out, they
are partly under the bone and he said that unless they started
to cause me trouble, it was better to just let them be. So he
did and they haven't caused any problems.
Anyway, the ones on top came out very easily, the one that had
been out the longest needed a little pulling but the one that was
just coming out pretty much fell out, It wasn't the big ordeal
that everyone told me it would be, in fact, I was so relieved
that about an hour later I went out and ate nachos.

It's normal if the surgeon says you need to get them out. If they are still partially embeded in your gums that means that they will still grow and when they do, they'll push all your other teeth forward and totally mess them up. So it's better to get them out. It's not a complicated surgery. Good luck anyhow!

yes they can still take them out. i had all 4 taken out too but non of them were showing. but the x ray showed that they were growing in sideways and pushing my teeth. it might be the same situation. also, doctors think that since there already putting you under for 2 teeth, they might as well take all of them out. yeah they get more money for this too, but you dont have to worry about them if they become a problem later

They generally want to take them out as a precautionary. Or if they have grown in sideways, they don't necessarily have to be poking out of the gum. It could be something that will cause damage to your mollers and/or jaw in the future. If you are unsure, just ask your dentist to explain it to you. I am having two of mine removed do to them creating problems. And the other two are fine, but my dentist told me that if I leave the other two in, they could always creat problems when I'm older. Who knows, I'm not the expert. I say just ask your dentist. *Oh yeah, and GOOD LUCK!!

Yes it is normal to remove them even it they haven't erupted. Don't worry, the uppers are not rooted in bone and there is really not too much trauma. Lowers are so they usually do those first. Only takes about 10 sec apiece for the uppers.

i dont know for sure i mean i still have all 4 of mine cause they do not get in the way my top two are still in the skinbut the bottom ones are out . and i can still keep them. i think it varies with different people. sometimes the dentist can tell if they will disturb you in the future by the way they grow. i truthfully dont know
