A little while ago I ended up not eating for two days. Wasn't intentional, I just worked my *** off all day and barely had the strength to move the one step to fall on to my bed.
I felt bad from the overwork but sharper in a way, so I'm thinking about intentionally fasting for a few days. Maybe a weekend, although I was thinking I'd rather do three days.
I'm generally healthy but I'd like to give this a shot, see if it will give me some mental clarity. Worked for Gandhi, so why not me?
Also, how can I explain what I'm doing to my parents? I'm 15 and really skinny as it is, and I don't want them to worry. I don't want them to think I'm becoming anorexic. I'm happy with my body, I just want to try fasting to see where it takes me.
Ideally first-hand experiences would be appreciated. I'm doing this for secular reasons so if your benefits were mostly religious/spiritual, I'm sorry but I'm not interested.
