Wow, what a fighter. I don't know of any treatments to help the problem, but I can suggest a few oils for treating the pain and headaches, as well as the depression that chronic conditions tend to cause.

Staring with the tingling and loss of sensation:
5 drops of Rosemary essential oil, 5 drops of lemon, 5 drops of peppermint.
Dilute this in 4 tablespoons of grape or sesame oil (because these oils are very light) and have it massaged over the affected parts.
If kept in a cool, dark place in a glass bottle, it will keep for about a month.

Pain management:
3 drops Eucalyptus peppermint oil, 3 Chamomile, 3 French Lavender. Add to 2 tablespoons of clay or aloe gel, and rub on the painful areas as needed.

For Headaches or migranes, try these oils in a diffuser, or put in the far corner of a hot, steamy shower and sit in the room for 15 minutes.
5 Chamomile, 5 French Lavender, 3 Rosemary, 5 grapefruit, 3 Peppermint.
Bottle it tight in a glass bottle with a dropper, and use a few drops in the shower or diffuser. Do not put yourself in the hot water if you have loss of sensitivity!

For anxiety, stress, and general depression:
5 Geranium, 5 Bergamont, 2 French Lavender, 2 Lemon
Bottle with a dropper, rub a drop onto your wrists to get the pick me up for several hours.

You can buy the separate oils or have them mixed for you and then shipped here:

To buy them mixed, send an e-mail to the company describing exactly what you need. Their products are the highest quality you can get, and they carry diffusers and extra bottles.

Good luck with your condition! You're a trooper.

I assume you don't have a shunt since you didn't mention it right? I found some information on Prolotherapy that may be useful to you: http://physician-assistant.advanceweb.com/common/editorialsearch/printerfriendly.aspx?AN=PA_06jan1_pap43.html&AD=01-01-2006
This may sound ludicrous but I believe it can truly help:

I genuinely believe you can heal yourself completely. Imagine your life without the problem. Completely pain free and moving through your life feeling fabulous. You can move, sit walk run and do it all pain free. It feels great to be ale to never think about the problem again it's just something in your past. Use a phrase of your choice, like "I'm healed and completely well and it feels fantastic" Repeat it to your self as often as you can feeling how good it feels as you say it. Time will make the difference. It's not crazy. I'm doing it myself with an "incurable" disease. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain, it's free and has no side effects so why not try it?

Good luck!
