Is Reiki or Quantum Touch more effective for the healing of ailments?

Would you have more results with Reiki or Quantum Touch in the healing of ailments? I was told that Quantum Touch is more effective for this. Any practitioners or anyone who has tried both for their ailments? Thanks... =-)

I am a Reiki Master and I can assure you that both are equally effective ( i read regularly the Quantum Touch newsletter and am impressed with the successes). I can give distant Reiki but am not sure about QT being sent over a distance. So, try both and then use whatever works best for you.

I would not hesitate to use any healing method if needed and don't see any need for competition, but then I am not a professional.

Always, I recommend anyone who intends to utilize an alternative therapy, including Reiki or Quantum Touch, to talk to your health care provider or doctor before starting. It is still not proven how Reiki or Quantum Touch improves health or how it improves healing. The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is sponsoring studies to find out more about Reiki's or Quantum Touch effects, how they works, and diseases and conditions for which they may be most helpful, but It is still are experiments.

Reiki - the most efficient.

Reiki is performed in offices, hospitals, clinics and private homes. The number of sessions is determined by both the practitioner and the client and generally at least four sessions are scheduled, at 30 to 90 minutes each.

People seek Reiki treatment for several health-related reasons. Do not use Reiki or Quantum Touch as a replacement for conventional care or to delay the time it takes you to see a doctor about a medical problem. Ask the Reiki or Quantum Touch practitioner about his training and experience.Reiki or Quantum Touch has not been well studied scientifically, but you can find and read research studies published Yahoo or other resource.
