Alternative Medicine - March 2007

In continuation to the above is there some thing called faith healing?Have any of you come across people who have completely changed due to the above?

I am just seeing if anyone has any "homemade type" remedies instead of an antibiotic for a sinus infection. My 13 yr old son has been having a congested nose for few days to a week and I just noticed this morning that when he blew it it was sorta yellow. not greenish yet, I have been giving him cold medicine, not too much just maybe a dose a day and it seems to have kept it at bay. But just curious to see in anyone knows of anything else to do to kept it from turning into a full blown sinus infection.

I have been trying to understand the oriental/chinese methods of relieving pain and ailments, but I am really stuck on the way the meridians run and work and the method to their numbering of the specific points. I am very serious and could use someone who is already knowledgeable in this to hopefully give me a better understanding to the method .

I have asked my wife to walk on my back to maggase and "crack" it, but she thinks she is too heavy. Is it dangerous for a heavier woman to do this? What actual injuries, if any, could occur? What is the maximum "safe" weight of a woman to walk on the back of a 6', 180lb man?

I wake up every morning sneezing like crazy. I sneeze all throughout the day and go through boxes and boxes of tissues blowing my nose all day and night. I had my allergies checked by a doctor but he said that everything he tested me for came back negative so I have to go get a second opinion. In the mean time, I don't like to take medications, so I am in search of an herbal remedy. I am going to a health food store tomorrow and need to know what to buy. I've been recommended by a friend to try ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) regularly as a basic supplement to healthy living.
