You can't ... they live deep in your mattress. Did you know that after 10 years, your mattress will weigh twice as much ... due to bed bugs (dust mites) and their feces? Good gawd, that grossed me out ... just learned that on the Discovery Channel a couple of days ago. Bit of good news ... the new Memory Foam mattresses are guaranteed to repel dust mites! :)

Hot water wash all sheets. Disinfectant sprays, vacuum vacuum vacuum, flip matress and repeat. Get the boxspring clean too. The dust mite will come back but you can get rid of bed bugs.

That part about the matress weighing more sounds kinda fishy. I supposed in theory that's true but don't you think those things would eat each other or decay over time too.

"bed bug"~ remind me of my past~ u saw one or many???
it time to thrown away yr bed (wood stuff), cloth, pillow and it like "change everything new".try to keep yr room spacious.

they can also hide in the wall, room "hole" and pillow inside which u cant reach, so u just had to thrown away onli.

we got call pest company to help and pay a huge fee, but i feel it cant wipe out all the bed bug cos my family still found bed bug but it is lesser than pervious.

if u wanted to save cost, u can try using thinner and detergent to wipe every conern of the wall or floor~

& go and see a doctor to take a cream to apply to the bed bug's bite.

hope it help~ Cheer~

I suggest you get an exterminator because what you saw wasn't a bedbug.

Bedbugs live within the mattress and can only be seen via a very high powered microscope.

Put your mattress out in the sun and let the UV cook the bed bugs.
Wash all of your sheets and clothes in hot water.
Clean your carpet too. Better yet, pull out your old carpet.
Alternative method is to burn incense and smoke them out.

I don't like to use chemicals.

Bedbugs like to hide in beds (hence the name) so spray your bed with Baygon insecticide. Then wash all linens in hot water.

Nowadays, you can get a spray to get rid of dust mites. Available in most of the supermarkets. Ask for anti-mites stones.
